apparel diet update

..... well, went to von maur this past weekend, not really sure why. I carried around a french connection, gorgeous black lace dress for about 5 minutes. I ended up putting the garment back to its home...

having a really difficult time right now. sounds so silly, but I really enjoy seasonal shopping - especially fall. I am wondering if I make a promise to donate, sell, consign 1/3 of my closet.. can I purchase a few items for this fall-winter season?? I have only been on this apparel diet for 1.5 months.. 7.5 months to go.. I think I need some sort of comprimise!

"Jenni’s Salon and Spa 3rd annual Fall Fashion Show Fundraiser. This year we are raising money for the Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Chicago. The event will include a fashion show, hor d’oeuveres, cash bar, DJ, silent auction, and 50/50 raffle. Tickets are $40 per person and can be purchased at Jenni’s Salon and Spa. Come for a night of fun and fashion to benefit a great cause!"
