my parents

old photos provide so much entertainment - but lately they have been more inspiring in nature. LOVE LOVE LOVE 70s fashion!

her is my mom preggo with me in her 70s floral dress (even tho its 1982!):

beginnings

most milo b clients & friends do not know why jewelry has been such a fascination for sara. her first sale was in 5th grade - she and her best friend since kindergarden started making black ribbion choker necklaces with rosettes. after a 'successful' run before the age of 13, sara knew her love of creating accessories was born.
sara's mom also has a major love of jewelry and a large unique collection that sara would always wear. after many years of vacationing in southern california, sara and her mom collected quite an array of pieces from local artists on the venice board walk and 3rd st promenade in santa monica.
in college, sara would tear a part jewelry to 're-create' pieces to her liking... eventually milo b was born.
